Sergio Mazza I first met Len in New York City in 1999. He convinced me that the world needs an International Business Ethics standard; while I explained that this could not be done by "fiat" (I was president of the American National Standards Institute at the time, and sat on the council of the International Organization for standardization). Len then persuaded me to help him on his quest. As a result Len found the Ethics Officers Association to champion his cause and we proceeded to convince them to take on this project. The details of the project can be seen on the EOA web site now under the title Resources and BCMS (Business Conduct Management Systems). Len is an example of how one determined person armed with the power of ideas can change the world. Sergio Mazza
